Just finished the external 並聯穩壓 (with all power transistors mounted on the Aluminum Bar as cooler)

Then the bar will be mounted on the case.

My friend get my old DAC AW-D2.

So I started to build a new one.

Here is the photo of the PCB

(CS8414 + DF1704 + 2 x PCM1704U-K)

No OP-AMP, just use matched transistors as Output Stage.

16 different Voltages

+5V D for 74CU04
+5V D for CS8414
+5V A for CS8414
+5V D for DF1704
+5V A for PCM1704 (Left)
-5V A for PCM1704 (Left)
+5V D for PCM1704 (Left)
-5V D for PCM1704 (Left)
+15V A for output stage (Left)
-15V A for output stage (Left)
+5V A for PCM1704 (Right)
-5V A for PCM1704 (Right)
+5V D for PCM1704 (Right)

原來如此. 不過1個pluse transformer 都係30元左右, 加埋佢啦. 因為你係用coax 線, 所以都有可能有noise...

有沒有興趣自己做個套升頻option kit

The Link to DIY CDP is just want to show the pluse transformer was installed in CDP already.

For the DAC, it is not a kit, they just sell you the board and provide the circuit only, you need to buy all components yourself.

The total I spent on this kit is about 3K.
(All Holco resisters, 4 x 627BP & 2 x 637BP, WIMA film cap, Blackgate Non-Polar e-cap ....)

If you use cheaper componets, you can completed the kit within 1.5K

Don't worry, the "分離式穩壓電源模組" have protection diode on it.

The reason why I don't use a pluse tranformer is that the digital out of my CD player already have one.

No!

The PCB was designed by a guy called takashi.

I just bought the PCB from him.

All I need to do is to buy all other component (IC, cap, resister....) and solder them on the PCB.
