我都試過見過Onkyo既Combo Player, L跟N出廠時內部PCB駁錯，Brown線駁左去N(無fuse)，Blue線駁左去L。
一般大廠都好少錯，但晤知點解某一的機反相駁會好的(內部無駁錯，L是有fuse的)。
我一般較聲時(尤其未玩過個的)先依Standard 駁好。再準備兩條一式一樣，但一條正相一條反相既電源線。一部一部機試。基本工夫唉。 |

HumanPower Hing, are you sure what you are talking about?
IEC320 is a electric standard and the picture correctly shows the wiring. If you open up any industry standard IEC plug, it clearly stated which "leg" is the Live, which is Neutral and Earth. You know the reason? Because protection device such as fuse or circuit breaker in each equipment should be wired on the "Live" side.
Same principle applies to US and UK plugs (UK is obvious because it has a fuse inside). All these plugs have clearly stated which is Live, Neutral and Earth and the picture again is correct.
All products that use the "multi-system" plug HAVE the same problem. If this is wired as UK, it would be wrong for US plug (and power cord). If this is wired as US, it would be wrong for the UK.
So far I have only touched the electrical wiring correctness, haven't event talked about sonic difference. Sonically, most machine sound proper when wired correctly. However, there are some exceptions where machines sound better when wired out of phase (or polarity). |

無論你是用英式電源線定美式,
相位都正常會是英式的,
友網上好多人連相位都唔知係乜,
已經扮晒大佬,
睇完當笑話米算law.......
隆宇無論是英式或美式插,
都是英式相位的,
這不是錯,
反而更有利控制相位變化.........

If it is using those "multi-system" type sockets, the "phase" (or the "polarity") can only be right in one way as US and UK sockets are oriented differently. That is also one of the reasons why such sockets are in violation of HK's eletrical code. |

Yes
Fundamental tuning: you need to test individual machine and see which phase sounds better. Some (only some) machines sounds better when electric is connected "out of phase" |
