640a don't have av by-pass,at least 740a .thats why u need to adjust both of them. |

Thank you coma hing. But if just tune the AV amp vol control when watch movie, it just tuning the center, sub-voofer and Sur speaker. The L,R is still same level. |

Is it have bypass input on 640 ? If it don have , u can just turn the 640 vol to half ! And then just turn the vol on yamaha all the time when watch movie

I just connect Cambridge 640A to yamaha 2400. But found the vol. level is very confuse to me. When see movie, I need control the front SP from 640A and the other SP from AV amp. so the level of output is always difference. How can I balance this situation?
