Dear Racing Boy,

Thanks for your explaination. So do you mean THX is not very
important? I plan to put the AV set into my living which is around
400 square feet. Is it necessary to buy a subwoofer? Some friends
of mine saids the Velodyne DD series is very Good!

DTS & DD is encoding & decoding format. THX is a certification
standard.

I am looking into buying a set of surround system for around 20K, have you guys any suggestions? By the way, what is the difference between THX and DTS? I am a little confused.
