well, floppy gives power after machine started booting
the problem is I need power to the LED and infrared remote before
the computer boots   My older 200 Watt SilenX has a 12V
DC for these modules |

If it is the fault (malfunction) of your transformer, why don't you
simple go to the shop asking for a replacement?  |

hi friends
Just upgrade my transformer (PSU) to 350 Watt to test the Nvidia 6800GT but found the transformer does not have power in the 4-pin floppy connector (12V) at all during boot, this cripple my system because the remote infrared power on need 12V power to be working....
Anyone know what's the trick here ? Another place I can get 5 Watt, 12 V from the motherboard ?
