如果你地真的有天線接收問提,真希望找到一個專業的師傅幫手,或這我可以提供一個給你們試試,因他會很用心地試出你家中問提發生在那,及用一個有訊號數據顯示的電子儀器在你每個天線位置讀取當時有多小數據 ( Signal db ),然很需要換甚麽及改甚麽,可令到訊號入電視不會過大或過細,他都會一 一 地話給你聽及正明你睇,然後先至講如做的話要收幾錢,這你可自由決定平定貴,如各不合理也可話也可唔做,這個師傅好好人也不會收取分文也不黑面,因之前他也幫我家睇過一次也比咗每個天綫位的訊號數據我,但這次我冇做,他也好有禮貌地離開,因為裝修及換全屋電視,但1個月裝修之後才至電師傅上來幫忙,他明顯地做到之前的講過每個天綫位應有的數據,及說明因太大入電視會到至電視內的接收器 ( RF tuner ) 衰老得快或死亡,如想要師傅資料可E-mail 給我 gsm_tv@yahoo.com.hk    |

I think P Yeung explain it very clearly. Maspro is nearly the best divider in the market but if you don't connect it well, you can't have good pic.. if you have wave partern, please remember to use double shielding calbe. Don't use Icable provided divider, it has bad result!!!! I helped my sister to install Maspro divider, no noise at all. |

I am already using the cable that is provided by cable tv ....I think that is not very bad. since as i open it. I saw it has double shielding..... |

For the Maspro spliter, get the F-socket type with metal housing instead of the usual plastic case with screwed in connector type.
If you have "ghost", the problem is with the TV antenna, you can do nothing about it.
If you have "waves", it is likely that you got interference. If the cables are connected just by the copper core and the shieldings are not connected, having interference would not be surprising. Even if the sheildings are connected but the whole connection is exposed (i.e. you can see the copper cores), it would be suspectable to interference as well. |

ummm..... seems no big difference.
i find also have 鬼映 and 波浪文,
any CLUE for that???

This is the worst case scenario. It would require a lot of dexterity if the exposed cable is so short. It canbe done but with great great difficulties.

If you can receive the free channels but "watchable", most likely the management office won't bother. Of course, there are ways to "make" them to do something if the connection in the connection box is, say, rusted through, just think about it....  |

你個case應該係d無良裝修改主位但save money 唔落喉. 就咁用英泥封左主位, 所以你點都郁唔到條線. 如果你試哂版友既方法都唔得, 就試下搵番個主位, 搵唔到唯有去樓上樓下睇下人地電視位係邊, 搵到就一野扑爛佢, 咁條線應該郁得番...不過通常都係因為d 裝修求其, 二條天線就咁紐埋就算, 係就會好似你而家咁.... |

I agree to check the cable first with multi-meter. It you cable earthed, you can't have good pic quality. If no cable problem, no need to replace the old antenna.. Just buy a Maspro divider and double shielding cable. you wil have surprise. If you don't how to do call me David 62755705 |

In that case, why don't you cut the connection and add a new segment and reconnect both sides properly using those inline connector (under $10 in Apliu St).

I have asked the management office. I can file in a request to do the work in the common area but the conduit must be hidden. but have to give them the diagram first.
the actual run of the room to my home is around 10M
I have found a 過路位 to my home in the common area. I opened it and see. WA...  條線係駁架. 但係兩邊都拉唔郁. . . 得條銅芯惦住. Then I went back my home to inspect la. 條入屋係用石屎mun死. . .

I really don' think changing an antenna cable would make substantial difference. I have tried, it's only 10 to 15% improvement. I suspect that the original cable was earthed somewhere, especially at the poorly terminated joints. Isolate both cable ends and use a multimeter to check the insulation between core and screen.(at 10k range)
No matter how you implore or ask, the management office is unlikely to not allow you to lay new cable in public area involving civil work. A partial wiring would be possible should you find any inspection box inside your premises entry point and leave the portion in the common areas as is.
Without giving the actual cable run in the common area, you can't quantify the extent of work and hence $$$ even if you can carry out such replacement work. |

Please try my simple method before doing it... waste money and you may need to remove if people complain. Last time I went to my brother's home and its TV reception is poor then I bought a maspro TV 1to 4 , after connecting it directly to each TV... no problem... sometimes your source is not perfect but a good TV divider can correct the termination and make its output ALSO perfect.... Trust....me ..!!!
1 to 4 divider HKD 125
20 feets HKD8/feet.. HKD160...... more reasonable.
Do you know why you have better result from connecting a wire from outdoors?? it is because you connect it directly to your LCD... if can avoid 75ohms termination inaccuracy. Direct Method works perfect! |

1.If you want做暗喉, 公個條喉塞到實晒, how can you do that??? who can help you??? Shout and fuck to your management office loudly ask them how can you做暗喉??? Ask them for giving advise.
2.For my opinion, I suggest you 做明喉 inside your home area because it can reduce the outlook damage. Since 做暗喉the worker cannot recover the same condition of the decoration like before. However, you can ask the decoration designer to do that to make it like before but you may pay more (if 4k-6k). Are you willing to pay???
3.So you are in patient to 做明喉 and waiting to next time your home 大裝修才做暗喉la.
$500-1,000 is the worker fee only, not include the after modifying fee.

There was this job having to rewire from the public antenna spliter to the flat sometime ago. The public antenna maintenance company quoted something like $950. Another electrician quoted $700. However, the cabling only involved stringing through some false ceiling and the rest are hidden using those rectangular plastic conduits. If you want to hide the cabling inside brick walls, that means more work including cement job and painting. I would say most people would charge you for AT LEAST 2 man-days of work which would be around $1500. |

所以咪成條換過囉, 我試過從公共電線房直接拉條線入屋, 好清!!!但係用原本入屋個條, 差到無人有. 但係功公個條喉塞到實晒, 所以咪問下鋪一條入牆喉從公共電線房入屋要幾錢都囉. 我個到私人樓, 響公共走廊唔可以做明喉,一定要暗喉.
