Many report has highlighted that upscale DVD to 1080 don't make picture quality better, some has reported that even worst, they would rather direct output the signal from DVD player.
It does not matter whether PS3 can upscale or not. |

Technically, PS3's processing power is more than enough to upscale DVD to HD resolution. But if they do so, no one will buy Blue-ray player anymore given PS3's cheap price and additional functionality. Other Blue-ray player manufacturer will either kill/sue SONY or go back to support HD-DVD instead. |

2006年11月对于游戏真fan来说是一个不容忽视的月份，除了各大平台都有大作登场外，备受关注的次世代主机PS3也将于月内发售，PS3日版将会在11月11日发售而美版主机则会在11月17日发售。
SONY官方曾经表示，PS3首发时在北美地区将会有40万台的配额，但是可以相信，40万的首批出货量是远远不能满足北美市场的，不出意外，PS3将会出现比Xbox360首发时更严重的缺货情况。为了在第一时间入手PS3，除了提前预
定只有去门店彻夜排队了，目前为止，已经有疯狂的北美玩家在北美著名电器连锁店Best Buy店门口等候，准备在接下去的时间内一直守候在Best Buy大门口直到PS3发售。
这些玩家拿来了躺椅，御寒衣物，各类食物等物品，只是为了在第一时间入手PS3主机。为了一台主机，他们需要在店门口等候超过1周的时间，提早如此多的时间开始排队的确十分少见，不过这也能说明PS3主机在北美玩家心中的地位了 |

If the signal processor of your TV is strong enough, this should be not a issue.
I would concern much more about Bluray Disc Playback performance. Just wait and see la!
Although I pre-ordered one that should come with the 2nd batch already.  |

I registered at Sony website last night and call their cs this afternoon.They claim that it is only step I as they will officialy announce the details of preorder few days later to those who has registered.I also ask them whether I can pre-order from their official dealers and they said all responsibility will be bare by the shop itself as those shops do not have goods yet. |
