HDMI is not a marketing idea. It is a circuit to transfer upscale video signal 720P/1080P from DVD player to projector in digital domain with HDCP compliance of both devices. The purpose is anti-copying for pirates copies.Without HDMI circuit incorporated in Dvd players, there were no built-in 720P/1080P dvd player avaliable in market.
For small screen LCDTV, the difference between component and HDMI is subtle. When it is compared in large screen, HDMI produces a more clean and stable image than component though it has a rich colour image than HDMI. During picture calibration, HDMI will give a more accurate color bar test IMO. |

預左比高清愛帶者插，
睇禁多高清試機片，不計tune到９彩果d Demo片段，拍出來的山水即使用full hd projector, full hd LCD, (HD ready)Plasma. 果D山始終都不及依家電視台果D普通山水禁(綠)係我色弱定真係高清既color depth cover 吾到禁多種綠呢?? |

你一語中的！saturation色差係濃d！所以overall觀感係好過HDMI同DVI！
仲有個畫面係比較滑，唔係唔sharp喎！
可能我未用1080p full hd display/projector，真係睇唔出HDMI好左d乜 ！ |

也有甘既事?我聽人講用HDMI線唔需要話好靚就可以.
而用色差線就要求高D.唔同線材都唔同效果.
但實際無比較過.我打算宜家升級投影投120~如果真係色差好.我一定會改用色差. |

black level 不同，色彩飽和度及「實淨感」也會因而受影響。
這是令人覺得色差比 HDMI 靚的原因。 |

呢度既人係追求完美同最新, 同色差會被人覺得 Out 的.
我係追求實際多於完美, 再大畫面吾敢講 42" 720p 我完全 Feel 吾到 HDMI 有任何優勢. 除左 3 條線變 2 條線之外. |

其實唔係用1080p，色差會唔會差過HDMI好多。
因為我有時覺得個色差d色同overall quality，唔計sharpness，仲好過HDMI，有冇人有同感
