K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 安裝後可在電腦上播放錄影片段
對應VD-306 錄影功能的外置硬碟
建議使用3.5” 320G或以下的外置USB硬盤
如若使用2.5” 的外置USB硬盤必要有額外的電源
請注意: 只支援外置USB硬盤。電腦應用型式的內置硬盤加上USB轉換線的硬盤由於格式不兼容,故不能對應
錄影高清畫面, 每小時約需硬盤容量8GB; 錄影標清畫面, 每小時約需硬盤容量3GB。

what's the difference between 306 and 608? is 608 including harddisk? |

I went Fortress last night and noted that they were still selling old model 306. In fact, new model 608 is already available.
Any C hing know where I can buy 608 (with recording function) and what is the latest price now....many thanks  |

- i did not use recording yet ... (somehow, my family seldom do recording).

what I like this box is that it is so "stable" ... in my enviornment (i'm using hdmi to av-amp, then hdmi to panel). |

thanks for your advice. 2 more questions,
1. 1399 is visa card offer or a normal price at Fortress?
2. what brand and capacity of HDD you are using, will Vdigi format the HDD for you. Will the speed matter, 5400rpm or 7200rpm better? |

Paid 1399- in fortress.
It can record, but you need to buy external h/disk.
(As I posted in another thread : )
My different friends are using Olevia, MagicTV 3000, eight, V-digi, nowTv-box ...
- they said Olevia, nowTv are very hot. (give up also)
- nowTv quality seems little problem ...anyway, their monthly plan $368 is not acceptable as the contents is so so , (I give up already)
Their comments on eight / Mtv / V-digi are ok.
Since I need a smaller size to be placed "vertically" outside, I finally choose V-digi.
The set-up is so easy, so stable. Conncect via hdmi.
Fireware upgrade so simple.
(FYI, its component output support 1080 too as shown on display)
Actually all tv screens (even not those hd-channels) are better than before , means auto upgraded (quite surprisingly) via this box.
Overall, very happy experience indeed.
Watched last night "Narnia" ..really excellent. Same for many programs in tvb-hd channel. |

just bought this one 2 days ago ...
everything so smooth, most important is no problem of connection / reception at all.
all channels, no matter hd ones or those signals from my building all processed / pass-thru v-digi ... the tvb/atv ususal ones are upgraded !

I have format the 320G harddisk by Ubuntu
320G harddisk is not detected by vdigi 306
My 320G harddisk is seagate harddisk and a third-party external hdd case
but vdigi 306 can detect my card reader which has 1G SD card inside.
How i can fix it
