I think the problem is cuased by the new selection tab: Frame rate.
If you pick this as 24Hz instead of auto while using 1080/24p, there is no jittering at all.
However, the movie will be showed as 1080/60p even you use 1080/24p while setting the time frame as auto.
I've updated, tried and played couple movies and I did not see any problem if you set both as 24p/24hz.
However, I don't know why Toshiba made this new selection for users if everything is needed to set as 24p/24Hz still  |

AVS Forum reported issues with FW2.0. It will cause lots of jaggies when playing 1080p24. I cannot verify yet because I cannot output 1080p to my PJ. |

Just completed the firmware upgrade (It took about 30 minutes)
- It runs a bit faster now...
- New option Frame Rate in setup menu
- Picture look a bit better
- It can read all my HD-DVD disc now without any problem.......  |

This firmware update improves support for 1080p/24Hz and auto mode(for HD-A30 and HD-A35), improves network connectivity for supporting the download of web-enabled network content associated with certain HD DVD discs, and also addresses certain disc playback and HDMI/DVI related issues identified by Toshiba.
