Recently, I bought a Toshiba A35 from US and I need to use a transformer as its 110V only. I don't have any problem except there is another bulky transformer
So I suppose it's the same for BD50, as BD30 also needs a transformer.
In terms of price, UK is more expensive than US, most of the time.
Sometimes players will be released in UK later than in US. |

定買 UK 機好D? at least 同香港電壓一樣

After looking spec's of the two Denon BD players (2500 and 3800), I've decided to go for Panasonic BD50, because I can't put up with players w/o internet connection (either Ethernet or wifi - hard to perform firmware upgrade and can't support BD Live in the future)
Then I put my eyes on the Panasonic BD50, supporting BD Profile 2.0, everything bitsteam and 7.1 in HDMI/Analog:

However, just asked Panasonic US and it won't be released until Summar 2008. Not sure I can wait that long
