換了另一台MTV5000，但仍然有開機無信號的問題，但可以顯示節目資料，去check信號係顯示有六十幾%，我部機係由牆身cable tv天線直入MTV5000再直入TV，我本身無用cable tv，係上一手的，會唔會有關？ |

James: I'm afraid we currently have to manually deal with the less than perfect EPG timing precision from broadcasters, by making use of the individual extend time and priority features of MagicTV.
Tam Wai Kwok: MagicTV can go into standby mode after scheduled recording - the same standby mode as if the standby button on the remote is pressed. In addition to turning off TV display, it also turns off many parts of the MagicTV hardware to save power, including spinning down the internal HDD drive.

A lot of people are commemting or worrying how hot the STB (or any other device) is.
I do not think this is something to worry about.
Different people have different concept of "hot or cold".
If the temperature is 40'C, I may say is warm, but someone else says it is hot.
People really has to measure the temperature (at a certain place of STB) and compare to others before commenting it is hot.
Modern electronic design generally are safe, if it complies to standard/regulations. Heat generation is normal.
So stop worrying the temperature and leave it alone. But make sure there is enough ventilation around the STB.

頭先我預錄好友移城同花樣少男少女都有發現呢個問題
但原來PM team做左樣好仔細既設定, 就係有優先次序同單獨編輯錄影指令, 或者你唔太明點用, 我就試下解俾你聽
你可以先安排後來的節目(節目B)錄影使用較高優先次序, 再人手編輯節目B預錄指令
如果你單獨調較節目B不提前錄影, 咁節目B就會一夠鐘就自動停左現有節目(節目A)既錄影, 並用節目B既名繼續錄影.
我實驗過係冇問題既, 而且應該唔會咁易出現A節目尾去左B錄影, 畢竟我用左HKBN機頂盒咁耐(前日先換MTV 3000), 其實我未見過節目遲左停, 因此A節目完結時通常都係廣告時間. 如果電視台偏差再大D, 咁就唔係個盒既責任.
當然最理想係自動辨識連續節目而調節提前/延長既時間啦
但諗呢個問題唔及其他關乎穩定性既bug fix重要,可以等一等先fix. |

James: Yes, 獨立set延長 for individual scheduled recordings can be done in the to-do list. Alternatively, you can let them conflict but choose one to have a higher priority, which will record the overlapped minutes, while the lower priority one will not.
