我想問下....我將隻HDD駁去PC度,發覺 (Folder tv & ts) 裡的file name全是"怪獸字",想問下各位 C hing是否和我一樣? |

糖糖兄, 各位師兄:
我成功用Ext2IFS後將影片檔抄入硬碟机(聽 Li On 話用MTV格式的),但仍播不出來,目錄也看不見新劇集,連舊影片也變得窒窒下,究竟什麼回事?我抄入的影片檔是來自家人的MTV3000,與我同model。
是否MTV之間也互不兼容的,還是我抄灟一些隱藏檔案?為什麼連舊影片也受影響? 請救救呢!我錄影了很多節目,唔想格式化整個硬碟机,怎想救呀? 我以為好似8仔將整個folder抄入去就掂, 我只是想交換劇集,沒有用電腦剪輯過, 但都是吾掂!

Kenny Chim hing, please try the TEST firmware. It may help your 窒聲 problem. If possible, please also try optical/coxial bitstream.

Hi Li On,
The HD space issue is solved, many thanks for your support. 
However, I have another issue with my MTV3000, my connection method is shown as follows:
MTV3000 (HDMI (video and audio)) -> Yamaha RX-V2600 (HDMI, audio output from AMP, video output to TV) -> LCD TV
There is no problem (sound) when using the above connection with "Bitstream" disable.
When I enable the "Bitsream" on MTV3000, sometimes the audio (output from the speaker) will have random "stutter" or 聲音"窒".
I have tried to use different HDMI cable (connection from the MTV3000 to RX-V2600), but the same results apply.
My firmware now is v2.01beta, do you think the MTV3000_2_01Cont.zip firmware solve my problem? (as I see that it only solve the issue of optical / coxial digital audio connection, but not for audio output from HDMI).
I have some findings, please check below:
1. If I open the MTV3000 first, and then the AMP, the time of random "stutter" or 聲音"窒" is higher.
2. If I open the AMP first, and then the MTV3000, the time of random "stutter" or 聲音"窒" is fewer.
Please feel free to give any comments.  |

我用緊既Aiwa 5.1 decorder全無問題。用光纖入無窒無斷。無論Bitstream on/off都無問題。
如關decorder, 用HDMI入電視無論HDMI audio on/off/auto亦無問題。
Firmware仍然用緊舊既2.01beta。
可能呢d資料都係無乜用。但希望可以幫到dd啦。 |

再次多謝你的詳盡解釋, 但聽落都幾複雜, 有冇另一個方法呀! 重以為一家人用同一款机在交換上就無問題添。看來, 只有繼續將劇集抄去DVD錄影机, 失去用高清的原有意義。
Li On 兄:
可否在Firmware考慮增加一個影片輸入輸出功能, 方便MTV用家互相交換劇集。
請問有冇其他師兄有類此需要和使用方式, 或有其他解決方法呀!  |

firmware updated test around 2 hours, no any difference.
My setup : MTV3000>Onkyo 905>Sony X200.
Main issue on live boardcast, recorded program are normal.

Hi Offer,
It seems that MTV3000 detected your Prima TV to be able to accept bitstream audio.
The sound will not be normal if MTV3000 sends bitstream to your TV, since your TV cannot decode. |

It is normal for TV set to not support AC-3 bitstream. Therefore, if you use your Prima TV speakers, the only correct setting is bitstream OFF.
AC-3 bitstream is really intended for AV amplifier only, for output to 5.1 speakers. |

pdf內教改名改info我建議未學識前嘗試唔好改,只改條片既時間,因為佢有教改時間,而時間係妳加左條片向mtv3000度播既關鍵之一,時間唔岩,應該播唔到,另外file size一定要大過妳果條片,因為細過既播時又係有問題,大過就正常播,不過唔太可以推前推後,而且改.tv檔係好重要一環,file size唔變得,內裡大細唔變得,要改野前麻煩睇清楚唔夠位加番佢,多得制就減番岩(所以我先唔建議妳未熟前唔好好似佢咁改太多野)我已經成功放到套劉德華2007香港演唱會blue ray落去play,一切正常!!!!祝君好運!!!!!!

It is not related to my AV Amp, my MTV3000 is direct connected to TV via HDMI cable, the "打""打" come from TV Speakers
BTW, it I trun off the bitstream audio on MTV 3000, the audio is normal. |

Offer hing, the TEST firmware is not related to your problem. If your problem happen everytime in auto wake up recording, then try this. Add a timer recording which will start in 10mins, then standby the MTV3000. Then REMOVE the 2.5" USB harddrive. Turn Off your TV and wait for MTV3000 to auto wake up. Do NOT connect the 2.5" USB harddrive. After the MTV3000 auto wake up, turn On the TV (there should be a "No Harddisk" message on screen) and check if the sound is normal. If the audio is normal, that mean your 2.5" USB harddrive does not work well with the MTV3000. Please use a 3.5" USB harddrive with standalone power supply. If the audio is bad even there is no USB harddrive connected, then please bring the MTV3000 to our office to check.

The new FW 2.01CONT+ can't fix my problem, when used optical digital audio in Bitstream ON mode
當預錄時間到了而沒有開TV,但當開返TV時如果佢仲未錄完只會聽到"打""打"聲(畫面正常),只有停左部MTV3000再開返先正常返!!!! (42"Prima + 160G 2.5" HD + $30 USB case)

The USB HDD message is normal. If you don't like it, you can turn it off in settings.
The front panel HDD bar indicates used storage, not free storage. |

Added: How to access (read/write) MTV3000 Formatted (EXT2 Format) USB harddrive in Windows PC? On the PC, please install a EXT2 driver for Windows, such as http://www.fs-driver.org/
Tomorrow (Friday), hopefully, We will try to release a firmware update for the MTV3000 with USB harddrive recording function, for user to have fun with recording over the weekend!  This firmware will have some software bugs and may not function 100% perfect. Please treat it as a "beta" release! After we collect feedback from users, we will release a update version ASAP. 
With the recording firmware, it can directly record to a FAT32 harddrive, or it can "format" a USB drive in EXT2 format up to 500G.
We suggest to use a USB harddrive with "auto Power On/Off" function. Some brand name USB harddrives we tested support the auto On/Off function, such as the Buffalo DriveStation, WD (Western Digital) My Book series, and Seagate FreeAgent series. If the USB harddrive support auto On/Off, then the USB harddrive should auto trun off when the MTV3000 finished recording and auto standby, and auto power on when the MTV3000 auto wake up when recording starts.
Generally we recommand a 3.5" USB harddrive with standalone power supply to use on the MTV3000. We also tested a few 2.5" USB harddrive size from 80G to 320G. Those 2.5" USB harddrives also work with the MTV3000 recording, with a "1 USB (harddrive) to 2 USB (MTV3000) cable" for the MTV3000 to supply enough power to the 2.5" USB harddrive. But we can NOT make sure all 2.5" harddrive can work on the MTV3000.
