CRNS35EU2 has hardware raid and also have a mode to combine 2 HDDs into 1 big one. If this mode can be recognized by MTV3k, we can have 2TB storage la. I also don't know the price yet. Will check it out when I visit SSP next week. |

I do not have the model you mentioned but I using CRIS35EU2 ( single ).
The hard disk case door look like the same. The curved shaped metal plate inside that door 唔夠力頂實隻 hard disk and the hard dick inside are not all the times being detected because the curved shaped metal plate 變形 as times goes by. I cut a piece of plastic eraser ( 擦子膠 ) and insert it inside the curve and prevent that curve shaped change.
In connect with MTV 3000 the hard disk will auto spin up after a certain period of 閒置 but it do not auto power on off with MTV 3000 that means even MTV 3000 standby by after recording and it do not power off automatically.
By the way please tell me how much the CRNS35EU2 cost if you know.

I have made an improvement to the robustness of consecutive recordings at different frequencies, and 0-byte recording failures due to no signal will be clearly indicated. I hope these improvements in the next firmware will help. |

I have a similar problem as john.
After upgrade firmware to 2.06, I record the following tv program have problem:
On 26/10 channel 81 10:00-11:00 魔法小神童加旋
On 26/10 channel 85 11:00-12:00 料理新鮮人
Channel 85 11:00-12:00 料理新鮮人 record failure with 0 length
On 2/11 channel 81 10:00-11:00 魔法小神童加旋
On 2/11 channel 85 11:00-12:00 料理新鮮人
Again, Channel 85 11:00-12:00 料理新鮮人 record failure with 0 length
So I guess that may be a problem of record channel 85 immediately after 81 will have problem, then I try record some program with similar situation (I have test one time only). But it work fine. So that is a really strange experience for me.
I am using mtv3000 with buffalo 500gb hdd (Fat32) and some old tv program 魔法小神童加旋 and 料理新鮮人 haven’t deleted.
Hope this information is useful to you and this problem can be solved soon.

另外, LiOn大人, 真係好想快D見到有支援FORMAT 1TB功能的新FIRMWARE, 因為我在電腦點都唔成功FORMAT EXT2格式,

其實MTV的剪輯及儲存能夠在開始前 "TICK" 上所有要剪輯及儲存的片段一次過工作,
但是就真的需要在開始剪輯前加上一個 "完成後自動關機" 的選項.
還有 MTV5000, 有需要加多一個 "完成複製後自動關機" 及 "完成移動後自動關機" 的功能,
希望LI ON大人可以幫幫忙. THANKS |

Current MTV3000 firmware 2.06 can format up to 640G USB harddrive. We will try to support up to 1TB USB harddrive formatting in the next firmware.
