你再format，唔使點處理，又無data，咪出現1X% |

想問一下各位, 我剛買左隻 baffalo 500G external harddisk (佢地話第二代那款), 我第次用 mtv 3000 黎format 時, 去到 6x% 就跳返出去主目錄, 而且harddisk 剩餘要 format 多一次先可以! 後來手癢又試format 多一次, 今次去到 1x% 就跳出去主目錄, 再試多一次去到 9% 就hang機, 要第三次先 format 到 !
而家錄節目同睇返都無問題, 唔知大家會唔會有咁既情況呢?
用左 mtv3000 近三個星期, 好滿意呢部機台盒, firmware 又更新得好快, 支持 mtv support team!  |

hi,
I updated the firmware to 2.03beta, I have a problem is, when I was recording a channel(like HD Jade etc), and I can change to other channel to watch TV, but only 3 channels I can chose not the rest of 12 channels. Could u please tell its the beta problem? or other brothers has this problem as well? Thanks. |

有問題呀!!! 我之前錄了很多節目(包括奧運開幕), 因為預錄有問題所以Backup所有tv, ts file to PC. 之後 format MYbook to ext3, 完成format後, copy 所有 files 去返 WD MYbook, ts and tv folders, 再 delete tv.db files in root directory.
慘啦! plugin back to MTV3000,之前20個節目, 只是見到4個, 其餘全部唔見了,奧運開幕無左!!! 我之後move all files into different directory, 逐個 .ts file move into ts, tv folder 試, 結果都係一樣!
有無C 兄可以幫到手??? 救救我!!!   |

你滿意，我滿意。同埋有好多人都滿意，但亦有好多人唔滿意。
例如録唔到野，識唔到Hard Disk, 收唔到signal....... 有功能用唔到。
我只希望各大大可以注意問題既原頭。唔好下下好似d靚仔咁一用唔到得就小個product唔得。
如果真係有問題的話咪同代理講或攞去整/換law. 或都呢到既朋友，Peter同Li都肯幫你架。

本人十分同意你的講法, MTV 未必是十全十美的 box, 但我認為是目前最佳選擇,
我由 mtv3000 出左錄影 firmware 第2日開始即使用 WD Mybook Essential 500G 用到依家最新 beta firmware,
一直冇任何問題, 各方面都極之滿意. 之後再買 MTV5000, 同樣十分滿意.
MTV 的工作態度及誠意, 實在直得嘉許. 
相信各位 ching 的問題多是因為 harddisk 不合, 或是因為接收訊號的問題也罷. |

你部MTV有事就要拿返去代理到整喇。
我部MTV3000夾Seagate 160GB 2.5" Hard Disk 收看同埋録影都冇大問題。連之前録影出2個相同檔案都係2.0.1beta fix左。Hard Disk又識auto-sleep又識standby power off. 用黎做預録或即録一次失敗都未試過。WD就有朋友試過有問題，但我試PM果邊都會諗計fix掛。
依家行緊2.0.3beta. 用1080i/60hz 睇完全無問題，除左2次freeze左畫面要轉台先有返之外，連hang機要硬reset都未試過。
互動功能又係第二隻品牌出到街。HDMI 5.1佢又支緩。聲靚畫面正，墊高左又一d都唔熱。想點？
我真係唔知有d乜野基本功能佢有問題呢。依家唯一我想佢有既就係録影時可以pause同埋cut片功能。
你可以話我係打手。但我真係幾滿意呢隻MTV.
重有呢到有兩位MTV既大大係到為你服務咁濟.......想點？  |

MTV大可以cut曬有問題既（未完美）功能，出正式版firmware，
但佢又唔想拖住一d功能，咪一路比大家用，一路試羅，

I went back to orginial firmware 1.06 and HD still hangs. I am going to exchange the MTV3000. Magic TV office is at Science Park, they are suppose to be a high tech company, not a normal China factory. What is going on? |

Added: How to access (read/write) MTV3000 Formatted (EXT2 Format) USB harddrive in Windows PC? On the PC, please install a EXT2 driver for Windows, such as http://www.fs-driver.org/
Tomorrow (Friday), hopefully, We will try to release a firmware update for the MTV3000 with USB harddrive recording function, for user to have fun with recording over the weekend!  This firmware will have some software bugs and may not function 100% perfect. Please treat it as a "beta" release! After we collect feedback from users, we will release a update version ASAP.
With the recording firmware, it can directly record to a FAT32 harddrive, or it can "format" a USB drive in EXT2 format up to 500G.
We suggest to use a USB harddrive with "auto Power On/Off" function. Some brand name USB harddrives we tested support the auto On/Off function, such as the Buffalo DriveStation, WD (Western Digital) My Book series, and Seagate FreeAgent series. If the USB harddrive support auto On/Off, then the USB harddrive should auto trun off when the MTV3000 finished recording and auto standby, and auto power on when the MTV3000 auto wake up when recording starts.
Generally we recommand a 3.5" USB harddrive with standalone power supply to use on the MTV3000. We also tested a few 2.5" USB harddrive size from 80G to 320G. Those 2.5" USB harddrives also work with the MTV3000 recording, with a "1 USB (harddrive) to 2 USB (MTV3000) cable" for the MTV3000 to supply enough power to the 2.5" USB harddrive. But we can NOT make sure all 2.5" harddrive can work on the MTV3000.
