Dear Li On 兄,
8:30pm 返家發現原先預錄開幕禮7:00pm沒有執行,WD沒有任何指示燈! 所以我自行press WD power on button. 之後WD自動執行錄影Function. 之後就無問題. 好彩之後有重播! 我用 WD Mybook Home edition 1TB, MTV3000 auto wake up Home edition 是有問題, 預錄不保證一定auto on 到 WD. 可以test下嗎? 好像有 C 兄都有問題.
另外我都試過MTV3000 and WD 已Power on 中, 之前set預錄自動執行無問題, 但我press stop button can't stop the reording. I need to press & hold WD power button over 25s to turn off the WD...

off左bitstream先至冇窒聲.

史卓文 hing, are you using the latest 2.03 beta firmware? Instant Recording will record 3 hours by default. While recording, press the Red "R" key to change recording length. And if Recording Auto Standby is enabled, it will auto power off after recording finished.

今晚錄野有少少問題, 唔知之前有冇師兄提過(因為太長好難search); 系咁, 今晚原本預校左錄開幕禮, 19:00已自動開始錄, 當時我在家咪開電視囉(用HDMI CONNECT), 一開就黑畫面, 祇有聲(機頂盒仍在錄影中), 當然有出錄完會待機訊息, 咁我咪再按開關制, 訊息不見了, 但都未有畫面, 要我轉去第二台再轉番轉頭先有畫面.
另當時我見都未開始便想停左佢先, 但按"STOP"制都停唔到, 我按入MANUL唔知制左D咩佢先停到, 於是我去預校錄影功能將有關指示DEL晒, 一直到真系開幕我再按即時錄影, OK一路都冇問題, 到一半但突然出現錄影完畢長3小時的訊息及自動關機.
想問問這情況會否同我部WD 500G外置HD有呢? (已FORMAT EXT2格式) 又會否受之前預校的影響呢? 如是的話,但個節目又未完又會自己息機, 好奇怪呢! |

我同一model, 但我冇事喎, 一開機一秒多就認到la 喎; 你既然format得到咁即系detect到la, 但你話個stand-by mode即系點? 出時間日期個mode? 定按開左電源睇緊台叫stand-by mode呢?

Added: How to access (read/write) MTV3000 Formatted (EXT2 Format) USB harddrive in Windows PC? On the PC, please install a EXT2 driver for Windows, such as http://www.fs-driver.org/
Tomorrow (Friday), hopefully, We will try to release a firmware update for the MTV3000 with USB harddrive recording function, for user to have fun with recording over the weekend!  This firmware will have some software bugs and may not function 100% perfect. Please treat it as a "beta" release!  After we collect feedback from users, we will release a update version ASAP.
With the recording firmware, it can directly record to a FAT32 harddrive, or it can "format" a USB drive in EXT2 format up to 500G.
We suggest to use a USB harddrive with "auto Power On/Off" function. Some brand name USB harddrives we tested support the auto On/Off function, such as the Buffalo DriveStation, WD (Western Digital) My Book series, and Seagate FreeAgent series. If the USB harddrive support auto On/Off, then the USB harddrive should auto trun off when the MTV3000 finished recording and auto standby, and auto power on when the MTV3000 auto wake up when recording starts.
Generally we recommand a 3.5" USB harddrive with standalone power supply to use on the MTV3000. We also tested a few 2.5" USB harddrive size from 80G to 320G. Those 2.5" USB harddrives also work with the MTV3000 recording, with a "1 USB (harddrive) to 2 USB (MTV3000) cable" for the MTV3000 to supply enough power to the 2.5" USB harddrive. But we can NOT make sure all 2.5" harddrive can work on the MTV3000.
