hi cwan, (sorry everybody, we are a little off topic)
I haven't found the IR code to control the MTV3000 remotely via Slingplayer yet.
I've already emailed the Sling HK's Distributor, seems like they are not replying my email (its been 3 weeks).
it is good to watch channel 12 (news) when we are not at home.
anyways, wish us good luck. |

Hi Buddylok,
Have you found the code ID file to control MTV3000 yet?
When I travel aboard, I gave up watching the digital TV broadcast, instead, I watch the analog antenna from MTV3000 loopback
Actually there is not much difference as the typical internet speed is around 500 kps at most in hotels everywhere. |

although the PDF was edited, the 2.01 beta firmware file is untouched.
that means, with firmware 2.01 beta, the analog video outputs are still disabled when HDMI output @ 1080p.
I've tried re-downloading and re-flash the 2.01 beta firmware.
I hope Pixel Magic is preparing to release the next better firmware. |

Version 2.01 Beta
** Before perform the 2.01 Beta firmware update, Please POWER OFF from the back
panel Power Switch, then switch On the unit, then perform the 2.01 Beta firmware
update.
Feature Enhancements:
-Improve USB harddrive standby/wakeup handling
-Improve FAT32 format USB harddrive performance, split file size changed to 4G each (around 40mins recording time for TVB Jade HD channel)
-Improve HDMI 1080p Image quality
-Improve Digital TV reception quality
-Improve MTV3000 to TV HDMI connection startup delay |

I see a big problem if all other outputs are disabled if 1080p is used though I do not use 1080p or another other output myself. |

Oh... why Analog signal are now disabled with HDMI output @ 1080p?
my LCD TV use 1080p, and I also have a Slingbox Solo connected to the MTV-3000.
Now I can't use my Slingbox Solo anymore if I use 1080p output. :(
Will the next firmware re-enable analog signal output when HDMI outputs @ 1080p ?
Also, when viewing TVB HD with HDMI outputs @ 1080p, the TVB HD logo on the screen's top right corner is shaking up a little.

kambo008, Pixel Magic have been stated that 2.5" HDD which use USB as power source may not work correctly since 2.0 Beta. Try a 3.5" HDD instead. My record and playback experience with a Buffalo 3.5" 320GB USB drive is very good. |

While I can see some improvement with the new 2.01 beta firmware, the picture still freezes and hangs during the play back of TVB Jade HD recorded program from my 2.5" xander external harddisk drive(Seagate 100gb). |

I had downloaded and i cant find any different in 1080P it still have some problem !!!
If MTV-3000 can cut 廣告 like the normal HDD VCR is more more useful.
