But 80-400VR can only give you 1:0.21 ratio and its closest focus
distance is 2.3m, not suitable for shooting macro at all. (even with
x1.5 factor for DC)

For example, I used 70-200L + EF2X (1:0.16x2 = 1:0.32 for 140-400)
which has closest focus distance of 1.5m, at most times it is still
not close enough.

And therefore Peter needs a 200 F4 Macro !!!

我最近都有去鳳園..但就影得好少虫蟲蝶蝶..>>> 尋日見到至少廿幾種蝶, 有Ｄ
好大好正, 虎紋、鮮黃色又有...好多都不停咁飛, 影唔到
枝 105 micro 對蕉又嘈又慢, ...枝 200 可能正Ｄ

由大捕墟火車站落車 > 專線小巴 20K (同個司機哥哥講响鳳園路落車, 大埔工
業區, 李錦記對面, 坐十分鐘車左右), 由鳳園路直入, 行十分鐘到凰園老村,
問吓人邊度影蝴蝶就得 la, 不過要經過幾隻惡狗, 小心小心, 出返鳳園路一直
行到尾到集水區都有蝴蝶 回程對面馬路坐返巴士或 20k 就得 la
