little just to get a more bright and shinny look, but thats just me. |

Dennis Hing. when shooting products, the lighting is very
important. I take a lot of food shots commercially, but I don't
know if my shots look good enough for you, so before I go ahead and
tell you what I do in my light setup, please let me know if this
sample shot looks OK to you. BTW, my shots were not edited in PS at
all, only used PS to resize for post.
As for cleaning CMOS, I use a Q-tip (Cotton bud on a stick) and
rubbing Alcolhol and never use a blower. Dip the cotton bud in
alcohol and gentlly place the bud over the dust on your cmos sensor,
this will pick up the dust and you don't have to worry about the
alcohol on the sensor as it will vaporise. |
