35-70 f3.5 is a must buy item for manual Minolta lenses. I have one
35-70mm f3.5 Leica R which is nearly identical with that of Minolta.
I bought the Leica at HKD 3,600. I have compared the two lenses, the
result was not much difference (only the colour tone of Leica is
brighter and sweeter, just personal taste). Therefore, I agreed with
certain degree that many people saying the Minolta 35-70mm f3.5 is an
OEM of Leica the same range.
I did not check the condition of the two lenses at Chung Oak. Maybe
I go to check them and will reply to you by tomorrow this time.
I have no idea about the 75-200mm as I have never used it before.

Presently, Chung Oak (TST) is displaying 2 items of 35-70mm f3.5
which are around 650.00.
Tin Cheung and Chiu Sheung Koon (TST) are also maintaining some
Minolta manual lenses, but they are not charging at low price.
Hey, do you have interest on 50mm macro? Chung Oak is displaying two
pieces of 50mm macro, one with extension tube, over 90% new. I have
used this lens and quite satisfied with the result.
Hope this can help.

Glad to know that you satisfy with the 35-70mm. It was recommended
by Pegasus Hing to me at about 2 months ago. However, I did not want
my Minolta gear to overlap too much, then I gave up. Luckily, it
reaches on your hand.
The 24-50mm is a legendary lens. Lines are so straight. Colour
rendition is of very natural. Perspective control is good. Sharpness
can compare with prime lens. There are not much good items around.
Both Chiu Sheung Koon and Tin Cheung got one item. They are charging
at not low price and the condition is not very good, please check if
it reaches your requirement.
By the way, today, my friend told me that Everbest (Wing Kai) at
Stanley Street, Central is displaying a Minolta AF 70-210 f4 at 950.
We did not check the condition yet. Please get Hay Sok, the
shopkeeper, to discuss the item and the ultimate price. He is nice.
Enjoy your Minolta.

I'm so impressed with the quality of the AF 35-70mm F4 lens. It only cost me $450.
Do you guys have any old Minolta lens that you suggest I buy? How about the AF 24-50 F4? I want to collect the old lenses, because they are worth treasuring.
