The failure was due to :
- I did not bring tripod with me.
- I could not find an object which would be easily distinguish between the front and the rear.
I met a senior guy this afternoon who told me that the DC lens could not deliver DC images as obvious as on film. It may be due to the crop factor of Digital Photos.
Anyway, the 105/2 DC renders good bokeh to my satisfaction, only that I was not familiar with its special function - DC. |

Thanks for your demo. The photo was very nice which speed up me to comply the test on Saturday. I am thinking of what to shoot will be easy to get the DC effect.

枝鏡係以前用film機時買落,但只係用在好少次,都未試晒o的DC校果,就比我收起左。而家用D70就方便o的,用左幾多DC,校果掂樣,一眼睇到,所以又抄返出來再玩。
以前影的都是家庭照,無你地影得咁靚。請勿見笑攞攞攞𠯋 |

I have been searching information and photo samples regarding 85/1.4 and 105/2 DC for a few days. The 85/1.4 actually will be more favour for portraits. I want to try the 'Defocus' function and the 105mm range WAS Nikon's best done in the past.
For 85/1.4, I wished to gear it for my Minolta AF system. Still I am looking for the fist version of it.
