From you photos, I could see no technical error. However, it may be only my personal taste that I would prefer photos of a bit under-exposed. The pressing shutter should not be so quick when the focussing spot lights. I think the computer of the camera still need to re-calculate. That's why my photo practise is get slower and slower.

I was told by a senior that he had missed a very good photo in India. The photo was shot at a beggar (child) with high moody of asking by eye contact. The EOs focussing light lighted up with a Tamr/n zoom. then pressed. It came out with a terrific photo by 3R. When the film was blown up to 5x7", it was clearly shown that the photo was taken out-focussed.

Somehow later, we were told by another senior that the tolerance level for accurate focussing for Tamr/n is 6cm. How can we accept it. He is now 75 years old and is very happy with the EOS and Canon lenses.

The A09 should have no problem because it was designed by Minolta, my beloved brand of camera.

this image used Tamron A09, but the image is sharp than before image.
pls birds1010 tell me, what is the matter?

Can you tell me, what is matter? Tamron A09 is difficult to capture sharp image at sometime.

Sorry for the late reply.

My equipments:

Nikon D70
Sigma 24-70/2.8 EX DG
Sigma 150mm macro EX DG
SB 600

Shot at:
JPEG
mostly f5.6
'A' mode
No +/- exposure

I did not aware of so many to shoot. After the 4 pcs of AA and EN-EL3 battery were being used up, I used the last piece of battery for built-in flash and to run the D70. In view of the built-in flash is not so powerful as the SB600, I mostly turned to use the Sigma 150mm macro to save power because I thought that the wide angle photos need more power to cover.

Also, starting from the beginning, the photos were shot by 2240 x 1488 (M size) for faster writing/saving and can save power too. It was done because of I do not need to print the photos. Of course, to shoot by RAW is much better, but the post processing involves more steps.

p.s. Tamron A09 is a good lens that very impressed me after I tried several pictures with it. I bought the Sigma because I like the Sigma tends to more European colour tone, especially the red and green colour. Maybe my technique is not good enough to handle Tamron lenses.

I like the D70 very much. However, I cannot handle/control the red tone of D70. So, I tried Sigma and like it more than Nikkors.

我想問birds1010兄, 你用那支鏡頭, 因為覺得你D想好beaut同好sharp.
及用那一個mode來拍攝此一輯相,
閃光燈用SB600或SB800, TTL是否需要加減?
我用D70加支Tamron AF 28-75mm f/2.8, 用SB600,
但拍攝出來效果相差很遠,
想birds1010兄指教o下,Thanks!!!
