Birds兄,看你手上持有的鏡頭,大多是中長距離鏡,知你喜歡snapshot,所以亦沒有所重叠的問題,因為每一支鏡都有其不同的用途.最重要的是你知道自已需要的是什麼.至於40D+小小白IS,機鏡皆輕,最適宜閒時隨身帶著隨拍用,不同小白IS的笨重,當然在室內拍攝小白IS佔優一些,散景亦勝一籌.大白是一支多用途的長鏡,可以拍花,鳥,人物,風景等.下面條link給你參考,其中亦有小弟作品在內

Thanks for your compliments.
I was tempted by your lotus photos and the 100-400 IS L very much. I am using 70-200/2.8 IS, 200/2.8 and 300/4 IS. If I get in the 100-400 IS, would it be too overlapped?
I have been thinking of buying a 40D plus 70-200/4 IS, the total cost will not be too much higher than a pc of 100-400 IS. This set is for travelling. What is your advise? |

Just met the Audio Note Lexus but have no intention for it. I am using Audioquest Columbia. Seems okay, I think it has ran it. Today I went to the library and went through the testing report by Chan Ying Kwong, he rated this cable very high, even higher than the Jaguar. |

My Audio Note is only a 2nd hand entry level silver cable. Nothing worth to mention.

James Hing, I will add the lens info to the thread ASAP. The posted photos were used with 18-200, 80-200/2.8 and 300/4 AF-S.
Sunny Hing and Mark Hing, would you like to go there by next year? The most essential is to wear sandal and short pants because you will need to stand into the water. The water level to wet my under. All the photogragher were doing in such, no matter male and female. Be careful from being crashed down by others for a better position, and you and your gear will have a Dragon Boad Festival diving.
I saw a female photographer who wear stockings and athlectic shoes standing in the water for photo, and you can feel everybody is so concentrating. Very very wonderful.
The using of Nikon and Canon gear were about half half. I seldom saw Canon 5D, but many Canon fans were using two DSLRs with one mounted wide zoom and the other mounted with tele zoom. Many 100-400 L are around with 30D. For Nikon, D200 were mostly used, many were used with Siu Hak 3. Then Minolta, I have seen more than 10 Dynax 7D and Dynax 5D with 80-200/2.8 APO G.
I got sunburn, but it's worth.

As I said to you before, you can capture the beautiful moments and take very good portrait photos. It is not necessary for you to shoot the leaves and flowers all the times.
