There are 2 sides for the benefit of the faster speed CF card.
1) Faster write speed for the camera, there is benefit if you take a
lot of pictures in high speed burst mode, like sports photography.
2) Faster read speed from the computer, if you have a good card
reader then your download speed will be faster too.
Check out the web site referred by poohmh hing. At minimum get a decent speed like 133X or 266X CF cards from reputable manufacturers then you have less problem down the road. |

depends how you would like to shoot / for bird / sports? good for the faster one......
if you shoot for landscape and portrait....go for slower card
because the 16 GB CF 45X is only $485 and the 300X more than $1XXX something
for my D200. i use the slow card becoz i can never full fill my buffers on my D200 per shoot...max just 10 frames of NEF+L Jpeg.
then i can still shoot other photos
of course the upload to computer speed of slower card is slower

存取速度快慢感覺係以3. > 2. > 1.
(3. 同 1. 有明顯...3./2.同 2./1. 難分d)
以 raw 12 bit, long NR on + HIGH ISO NR on.... |

又要請教各ching:
有sales講過，D300用不上超高速CF，
因為D300本身是行133的，所以用133CF便ok
太快的CF只會浪費金錢，這是對嗎?
又有Sales話:本身D300的援衝區很好，
所以用普通CF都能應付自如。
所以要請教ching，我應付多錢用快咭，
還是付少錢用普通咭好呢?
又或者ching介紹張好的CF
