Sunny hing, just an observation, so far, the color and presentation is very close to D3 but......the body shake is not quite as well control as a D3 which has a far superior shutter. Tough decision......but I prefer a D3. |

From the photos Henry took in ISO 6400, I think D700 this time has surely over-performed Canon a lot. But I agree with Henry that the price is a bit high.
Another friend called today and said the water goods D3 is only HK$29,950. So may be D700 is really a bit over-priced.

For Nikon is not a childish brand. Made in China, Made in Thailand or Made in Japan should be maintained with good quality. Nikon will surely responsible for any malfunction. Starting from D70, I think many brothers might have came across of the green light problem. Nikon changed the parts for every camera without charge. The banding problem of D200 makes users to grow more confidence on their after sale service.
Other famous brand always use loyal fans as 'White Mouse' to trigger problems for cure, too bad. They deny and not even a regret. I was also one of the victims.  |
